Ultra Long Mileage
Yokohama used advanced technology to design the RY587 specifically for long haul trailer tire use. This state-of-the-art tire will provide thousands of trouble-free miles, use less fuel, and provide protection from scuffing and irregular wear.

Long Even Wear
Incorporating advanced technology from steer axle designs to control the occurrence of shoulder step-down wear, the RY587 includes "stress control grooves." The SC Groove minimizes pressure at the edge of the tread, resulting in a dramatic reduction of free-rolling wear, thus providing longer, even wear over the life of the tire.

Built-in Durability
Stone Ejector Ribs prevent stones from reaching the bottom of the groove where premature casing damage can start. Yokohama's unique Belt Edge Cushion and Edge Cover Sheet allow steel belt edge flexibility by bonding tightly for reduced strain and longer casing life.

Enhanced Wet Traction
Distinctive Five-Rib Tread Design allows for effective water evacuation from under the tread, reducing hydroplaning and increasing wet traction. Extra deep sipes maintain sharp edge effects for enhanced wet grip through the stages of wear.

Low Rolling Resistance for Less Fuel Usage
