FULLERTON, Calif. - (April 13, 2007) - A new GT2 team will race at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach's American Le Mans Series event on Yokohama Tires, but that won't stop them from having years of experience.

Speed World Challenge veteran Tim Pappas joined forces with Jim Bell to campaign a Porsche 997 GT3 RSR from Bell's Miami, Fla. shop. The newly formed Team Trans Sport Racing will prepare the car for American drivers Terry Borcheller, Mike Fitzgerald and team co-owner Pappas.

"Yokohama is proud to be a technical partner of Team TSR," said Robert Dole, product promotions manager for Yokohama. "Our ALMS relationship with Porsche Motorsports North America makes this partnership a great fit."

"Yokohama is no stranger to the process of developing competition tires," said Bell. "I've enjoyed working with them because Yokohama is a technical company that thrives on winning."
